Summer TV Preview: The Murder of Princess Diana's Death
What really happened the night Princess Diana died? Noel Botham theorized that Diana was murdered on the night her car crashed in the tunnel in Paris back in 1997. Botham wrote a book about his theory titled The Murder of Princess Diana and later this month, the Lifetime channel will air a made-for-TV movie adapted from the book.
The two-hour Lifetime Original Movie, titled ‘The Murder of Princess Diana’ is a fictional account of the book, which focuses on the events that lead up to the crash that killed the Princess and the investigation done by a journalist who witnessed the crash and doesn’t believe it was an accident. The movie will air on August 25th, just in time for the ten year anniversary of the Princess’ death and will star Jennifer Morrison (‘House’).
While the police investigation determined that Diana’s death was an accident, many people aren’t so sure and it’s likely that Diana’s death will always be a bit of a mystery.
‘The Murder of Princess Diana’ will premiere on Lifetime on August 25th at 9:00 p.m. EST.
