Syfy's Super-Powered Alphas Gets Its First Full Poster
Super-powered television hasn't been doing so well lately. Heroes went from awesome to awful over one summer. Smallville's illustrious run is over. No Ordinary Family broke up (well, got cancelled) and NBC's Wonder Woman will never see the light of day... So, is there any hope for Syfy's new show Alphas?
Well, they just released the first poster for the show and, uh, meh? TVLine debuted the poster earlier today and it looks super generic and boring to me. It's got that ever so similar 'sci-fi silver shine with lens flares' thing going on that so many films or shows in similar vein have been using (check out the Source Code or Adjustment Bureau key-art for examples). I mean, it's just six headshots rammed together. Nothing very super about that... But what do you think? Am I being too harsh?
For a better look at the show (plus a full plot breakdown and extra character stills), you can watch the trailer here... Alphas premieres Monday, July 11, at 10 p.m. ET on Syfy with a 90-minute first episode.
