TBS Orders Up Office Episodes
Here’s a partial list of things I hate: the fries at Steak N Shake, ignorance, action movies, and people saying that there’s nothing on TV. If you can’t find anything to watch on television, you’re either a cheap bastard who needs to order more channels or you’re talking out of your ass to try and make conversation. The History Channel, A&E, and Crime TV always have great specials about poorly committed murders, and E! And Bravo TV can fulfill any countdown or catty gossip needs. Even if none of this draws your interest, there’s always TBS.
Over the last decade, TBS has quietly built up an arsenal of great comedy programs. ‘Seinfeld’, ‘Friends’, ‘Everybody Loves Raymond’, ‘Family Guy’ are all predominately featured throughout the day. According to The Hollywood Reporter Turner and company are now ready to add ‘My Name Is Earl’ and ‘The Office’ to their repertoire. It’s like a gift from God. Both of these shows have incredible rewatch potential and sit atop the apex of current situational comedies.
Sadly, you’re going to have to wait until 2009 for the happiness to start kicking in. Stop! Put down the razors and the nail gun! It’s not that far away, and besides, we’ll have a new president by then and ‘Lost’ will be over. It’s a special year when you can rid yourself of two potential-wasting disasters.
