TBS Reveals Comedian Lineup For The Very Funny Show
TBS's forthcoming The Very Funny Show promises not only to offer us the best in current stand-up comedy, but also brings with it short interview vignettes with the comedians to talk about their inspiration in the medium and the genesis of certain ideas or material they explore. So we'll not only get to see them being funny, but also how they came to be funny, and why they bring it to us.
The stand-up routines were performed during the Just For Laughs festival held recently in Chicago, and taped at Zanies Comedy Club. Tim Meadows (Saturday Night Live) is on board to host the festivities for us weekly.
To help prepare us for the series premiere of The Very Funny Show this Thursday, November 19 at 12am ET (that's after Wednesday night's edition of Lopez Tonight for those who struggle with the math of midnight), TBS has provided us with a look at the roster of comedians tentatively scheduled to appear throughout the run of the show.
