With the Writer’s Guild giving a big thumbs up to the 50th Annual Grammy Awards, organizers of the show are scrambling to make sure everything is in a go-mode. For the TV Guide Network, that means a slate of shows leading up to the gala, airing on Sunday, February 10 at 8 p.m. on CBS.
You know, I love a good awards show as much as anyone. I look forward to all the hoopla surrounding the red carpet and the fashions and speeches and the whole shebang. But for some reason, I can never get excited about the Grammys. It’s not that I don’t love music. I do. But I think it’s because there are so few really talented musicians out there these days. That sounds really curmudgeonly of me, but it’s how I feel, so there ya go.
Then again, maybe I’ll watch all the stuff on the TV Guide Network, because it looks to be right up my alley. I'll just skip the actual awards show. Here’s the lineup from TV Guide Network’s press release:
