TV Land To Premiere Retired At 35 With Hot In Cleveland Season 2

This January, TV Land will build onto their short but successful original comedy series list when they premiere Retired at 35.

Set to premiere on January 19, 2011 at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT following the Season 2 premiere of the popular comedy Hot in Cleveland, 35 and Retired follows a New York City businessman (played by Johnathan McClain) who gets fed up with the rat race and decides to retire a few years (decades) early.

George Segal and Jessica Walter play the guy’s parents and will also be playing host to his retirement as he moves in with them at their Florida condo. The premise definitely sounds funny enough as I’m sure there are plenty of people out there in their thirties and already day-dreaming about retiring.

The series already has a number of guest stars lined up, including Peter Bonerz (Just Shoot Me), Kym Douglas (Good Day LA), Tony®-winning actress Christine Ebersole (Grey Gardens), Estelle Harris (Seinfeld) Mimi Kennedy (“Dharma and Greg), Mark Christopher Lawrence (Chuck), Shelley Long (Cheers), Chris McDonald (House Bunny), John O’Hurley (Seinfeld), Christina Pickles (Friends) Ashley Williams (Saving Grace), Jay Thomas (Mr. Holland’s Opus, Cheers), Fred Willard (A Mighty Wind, Best in Show) and George Wyner (The Mentalist, House).
