Why is it that television shows love to have guest stars? Feel free to answer, it isn't rhetorical. In fact, it's frustrating. Is the show too weak to stand alone? No, that isn't usually it. In fact, many shows successfully use the guest star and even work with it. However, what really ends up being the burner is the fact that the guest spot is sometimes more commercial than anything. Now that my rant is over, moderately popular emo/screamo band Taking Back Sunday will appear on the N's hit show 'Degrassi: The Next Generation.'

Taking Back Sunday will star in an episode named after one of their songs, “What's It Feel Like to Be a Ghost?” Tune in on January 12 at 8 pm EST. The main character of the show joins the band. Hilarity ensues, of course. If your like me (and you probably are not), you have no clue what any of this is all about, but I can tell you one thing: 1. Taking Back Sunday has a few cool songs and they'll be on tour sometime in 2007. As for the N's hit show 'Degrassi: The Next Generation,' check your local listings and give it a view.
