MTV’s Teen Wolf may have only aired a handful of episodes, but that’s apparently enough to earn it more than one Teen Choice nomination. Gossip Girl, Make It or Break It, Secret Life and iCarly are among the other shows that scored multiple nominations.
It seems likely that the Teen Choice Awards is the only awards event where Fox’s House would be up against ABC Family's The Secret Life of the American Teenager for an award. Hey, kids have eclectic tastes. Doctor drama is to some teens what teen mom drama is to others. Some kids prefer Fringe, while others can’t get enough of The Vampire Diaries.
The Voice is going up against American Idol in the Choice TV Personality category. Adam Levine and Christina Aguilera each earned a nomination for that one, along with Idol host Ryan Seacrest and judge Jennifer Lopez. Top Model’s Tyra Banks could be the upset in that category if she manages to squeeze out the musical competition. Meanwhile, Fox has Choice TV: Animated Show locked down, with the shows from their Sunday night Animation Domination sweeping the category.
Teen Choice 2011 is set to air Sunday, Aug. 7 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) on FOX. Fans can go to TeenChoiceAwards.com to vote for their favorites among the nominees.
