Fox’s highly anticipated adventure drama Terra Nova premieres tonight! If you’re interested in a glimpse of the future, the past and some dinosaurs, we have a behind-the-scenes look at the series, which includes the cast talking about their characters.

The video below breaks down the premise of the series. The earth of the future is barely habitable. People are going through some kind of portal, which takes them to a past-version of earth where everything is fresh and new and there’s an actual future there. Of course, starting over is not without its challenges. Among those are apparently dinosaurs!
