Finally! No more having to fast-forward through those pesky TV shows to get to your favorite commercials. Recently, TiVo announced its new service, which will allow viewers to select and watch long-form commercials through their DVRs. This Ads-on-Demand type feature is similar to the feature that allows TiVo subscribers to view movie trailers except in this case, its commercials.
The ads offered in the service will range from 1 minute to 1 hour. It will give potential shoppers the opportunity to view commercials they might otherwise have fast-forwarded through when watching programs they recorded. This feature will prove to be useful to people who want as much information on a product as they can get before they go out to purchase it... Or for people who can't find anything better to watch on TV.
