Remember the insanely hot rocker chick who inexplicably found Mike Myers attractive in Wayne’s World? That would be the lovely Tia Carrere, and she’s taking on the latest in a strong of TV guest appearances with a role on an upcoming episode of In Plain Sight, which is getting ready to air its final season on USA.
TV Guide reported that the actress who at 45 is still way out of Wayne’s league will play a dance instructor on an episode of In Plain Sight which will air on March 23rd. Since the show’slast season premieres on March 16th, we won’t have to wait long to see her hit the floor. Her character, Lia Hernandez, will not only be a dance instructor to Stan, but will apparently also take the dance moves off the floor in a hush-hush romantic liaison that is unlikely to stay hidden for long.
Carrere has plenty of TV credits including several episodes of Curb Your Enthusiasm and a guest spot on Nip/Tuck. She has definitely got some moves on the dance floor – her appearance on Dancing With the Stars landed her in sixth place, so we can expect to see her putting all the practice to work in this role. She also has another reality competition series soon to be added to her resume, as she will be on the new season of Celebrity Apprentice starting up in February. She’s come a long way since Wayne’s World, but she’ll always be Cassandra to me.
