Today To Air A Primetime Holiday Special

NBC’s Today is gearing up for the holidays with a special Today episode, set to air during primetime on Monday, December 22nd. The special, titled 2008: Today Looks Back, A Holiday Special is pretty much what the title suggests. Matt Lauer, Meredith Vieira, Al Roker and Ann Curry will host as they look back on the year’s most notable events.

Here’s what NBC announced about 2008: Today Looks Back, A Holiday Special:

“America's first family is making a very special appearance in primetime this holiday season. Matt Lauer, Meredith Vieira, Al Roker and Ann Curry will host 2008: Today Looks Back, A Holiday Special, which will air Monday, December 22 at 8 p.m. Today's Natalie Morales, Kathie Lee Gifford, Hoda Kotb, Lester Holt, Amy Robach, Jenna Wolfe, Willard Scott and Gene Shalit will also make appearances during the hour-long special.”

2008: Today Looks Back, A Holiday Special will air on Monday, December 22, 2008 at 8:00 PM ET on NBC.
