Top Notch Performers Set To Rock Tonight's Grammys

Even if you’re not totally up on today’s music, the Grammy Awards usually have a little something for everyone. The line-up of performers for tonight’s Grammy awards looks pretty promising. As this year’s the 50th Grammy Awards ceremony, it seems fitting that a big name like Tina Turner join the list of artists set to perform.

Turner will join Beyoncé in a special performance during the ceremony. Also set to perform tonight is Kid Rock, Dave Koz, Keely Smith, Andrea Bocelli and Josh Groban, Feist, Fergie and John Legend, John Fogerty with Jerry lee Lewis and Little Richard, Foo Fighters, Herbie Hancock and Lang Lang, Alicia Keyes, Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood, Aretha Franklin, Clark sisters, Isreal and New Breed, Trin-I-Tee 5:7, the cast of “The Beatles LOVE" by Cirque du Soleil and Rihanna.

With that line-up, it’ll be a miracle if they manage to have any time to hand out awards. Personally, as long as the performances are good, I won’t mind staying up to watch the entire ceremony. To be honest, the Grammy’s are probably the only real music event that I pay much attention to each year. I guess I just like the variety.

The 50th Annual GRAMMY Awards air tonight (Sunday, February 10, 2008) at 8:00 p.m. EST on CBS
