Totally T-Boz Reality Show Premiere Date Set: Watch The Sneak Peek
TLC's kicking off 2013 the TLC way. And by that, we mean TLC - the network - is premiering the reality show of girl group TLC's Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins. TLC released a sneak peek of Totally T-Boz, which gives us a look at what Watkins has going on in her life right now.
Totally T-Boz premieres January 1 and will follow Watkins as she moves to Los Angeles with her family and friends with the goal of reinventing her music career. This includes trying to find a balance between her solo work and trying to work with TLC singer Chilli. The period between the height of TLC's fame in the 90s and the present has included some hard times, including the tragic death of TLC's Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes and a life-threatening brain tumor for Watkins . The preview below has Watkins referencing her medical issues and talking about where her career is right now as she looks to the future.
She seems prepared to start from scratch when it comes to her career, and that may be the best kind of outlook she can have, as it suggest she's prepared to work to achieve success again. Fans of TLC and of Watkins in particular are likely to be eager to see how she does with that and Totally T-Boz should give us an inside look to the artist's attempts to rebuild her career and move forward in her life.
In addition to Tionne Watkins, the series will also feature her brother Kayo, cousins Barb and Chris, her friend Tae-Tae and her friend/business-partner Tara.
Totally T-Boz premieres January 1, 2013 at 8/7c on TLC.
