Traffic Light Preview: En Fuego

Liked the premiere of Fox’s new comedy Traffic Light? Check out the clips we have from this Tuesday night’s episode, which has Adam scrambling to replace a lost sentimental item, and Lisa breaking a sacred code.

If you missed the series premiere, you aren’t too far behind and the premise is simple enough that you can jump on board this week. Traffic Light follows Mike, Ethan and Adam, three friends trying to navigate through adulthood from three different stages of life. Mike’s married to Lisa and they have a baby. Adam just moved in with his girlfriend Callie and they’re adjusting to being a full-time couple. Meanwhile, Ethan’s still single and enjoying being a bachelor.

Here’s Fox’s description for this week’s episode, which introduces the phrase “burn notice” as used by these characters to describe a procedure that follows a break-up and is apparently part of the guy-code.

Mike and Ethan learn that Adam has been hanging onto “CJ,” a stuffed animal he won for Callie at a carnival when they were first dating – and a sort of “go-to” move that Adam has used in the past to win over the ladies. When the guys get rid of CJ, Callie becomes noticeably upset over the missing toy, so Adam tries to win a replica to replace Callie’s before she figures out what happened to it.Meanwhile, Lisa’s company hosts a charity tennis tournament, and she teams up with Ethan’s former flame to form the “Smash Sisters.” But their plans for intimidation on the court take a turn when Ethan reunites with his ex-girlfriend in the all-new “En Fuego” episode of TRAFFIC LIGHT airing Tuesday, Feb. 15 (9:30-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (TRF-109) (TV-PG D, L, S)
