Travel Channel Helps You Prepare For Your Next Staycation
I love to go on vacation any time of the year but there’s nothing like taking a week off from work during the summer and heading off to some far-away destination. Times are tough though and with the cost of gas these days, traveling can take quite a toll on the wallet. It seems the Travel Channel is aware of this because they’ve put together a week-long set of programming called “Staycation Week.”
Doing the whole “staycation” thing is all about finding places closer to home where you can escape your everyday life without having to dip into your kids’ college fund in order to pay for it. Travel Channel’s “Staycation Week” will feature special episodes (some of which are encores of past episodes you may have missed) of various popular Travel Channel series that might help inspire you to think outside the box when it comes to planning your next budget-friendly vacation.
