True Blood's Jessica Tuck And Sparks' Robin Givens Join ABC Family's Twisted
ABC Family is adding some famous faces to its newest drama, Twisted. True Blood vet Jessica Tuck and Sparks and House of Payne actress Robin Givens have joined the upcoming drama, and both are signed on for recurring roles.
Twisted was initially titled Socio, and when we first heard about the project, it was in the pilot phase with Denise Richards attached to star as a murder suspect’s mom. Since that October announcement, Twisted has signed on Avan Jogia to play a young man suspected of being involved in a murder. Additionally since October, ABC family has picked up the murder mystery to series, along with another pilot, The Fosters.
According to THR, Twisted will be hitting the ABC Family schedule in June, but the two new additions won’t appear until July. Tuck, who played an uptight vampire rights spokeswoman on True Blood, will play an uptight mom this time around. This time around it seems like her character will have more of a reason, though. Tuck will play the mother of the deceased girl, Regina, whose murder will be investigated during the tenure of the show. Givens has signed on to play another mother in the series who belongs to the same social circle as Tuck’s character, Gloria.
It’s tough to tell whether this series will fit into ABC Family’s lineup, but you can tune in and decide for yourself when Twisted premieres on June 11 at 9 p.m. ET on ABC Family.
