Varma And Montgomery Headed For Human Target
Fox announced today that there are two new women set to join the cast of Human Target when the series picks up for its second season this fall.
Fox made the announcement today during their Summer TCA conference, stating that Indira Varma and Janet Montgomery are on board to join the series for its second season.
Indira Varma’s credits include playing Inspector Cate Pritchard on Bones, and Niobe in HBO’s Rome.
As for Janet Montgomery, she’s set to take on the recurring role of Ames, a thief with “chameleon-like” abilities that make it easy for her to blend in. If you watch Entourage, you’ll recognize Montgomery as Jennie, Eric’s assistant. Judging by how beautiful she is, I have my doubts about how truly chameleon-like she’d be in real life but this is TV, so I suppose we should suspend our disbelief. Her character gets a job working for Winston in an effort to turn over a new leaf and move away from her previous life of crime.
In addition to her role on Entourage, Montgomery’s credits also include an appearance in the comedy film My Idiot Brother, starring Zooey Deschanel and Paul Rudd (set to hit theaters some time in 2011).
Human Target’s second season will premiere Friday, Sept. 24 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
