Want A New Episode Of Punk'd? How About 8?
Conventional economic strategy says that if you withhold supply, demand will rise. Network bigwigs usually follow a time tested formula of spacing episodes out to keep anticipation up. Apparently, ‘MTV’ executives hate Adam Smith and all other economists because they are following the ‘Who Wants To Be A Millionaire’ approach and flooding the market with ‘Punk’d’.
Zap2It.com is reporting that on April 7th, ‘MTV’ will run a sneak peek four hour marathon of the entire season of ‘Punk’d.’ This season will include pranks on actress Hilary Swank(Boys Don’t Cry, Million Dollar Baby) and basketball pioneer Magic Johnson. ‘Punk’d’ star Ashton Kutcher has announced this will be the last season; however, take that with a grain of salt. I’m not sure if there have been more Elizabeth Taylor marriages or rumored last seasons of ‘Punk’d.’
After the sneak peek, ‘Punk’d’ will “premiere” in its regular weekly timeslot on April 10th. Kutcher and other network executives are planning a ‘Punk’d’ awards show for the all-time best pranks. It should show up sometime in June.
