I never had much interest in Jericho until now. CBS.com just posted a rockin' video preview of the resurrected series' upcoming season and it's got me ready to set my DVR for Feb. 12, the night Jericho returns for a seven-episode run on CBS. The premise for the series always sounded cool: The residents of a small Kansas town try to pick up the pieces as the nation struggles to rebuild itself after a massive nuclear attack. Still, all of CBS' previous promos for the thing made it look pretty dull. I didn't think I'd ever get the chance to check it out after CBS canceled it last May, but those tenacious Jericho fans convinced the network to renew it for another season.
CBS really wants viewers to catch up with this series before the second season premiers. CBS.com is streaming all 22 first season eps of the series plus several episodes of a companion Web series called Countdown. So, if your game, there's plenty of time to get caught up with Jericho on the Web before February. Or you could just wait until CBS breaks down your door and shoves the first season in your DVD player. Your choice.
