Watch Justin Bieber And James Corden Bust Out Karaoke In A Car

Justin Bieber has spent a considerable amount of time over the past year working to rehab his image, and last night he popped up on The Late Late Show with James Corden to create a little more goodwill. Luckily, throwing Bieber and Corden into a car together can only lead to amusing shenanigans, and you can give them a watch, below.

There’s a lot we get to know about Bieber in the silly segment, which features Corden and the singer belting out such classics as “Baby.” (It seems The Biebs can no longer hit the high note that song requires.) He also tells Corden that he gets so many underpants from Calvin Klein that he only wears them once before throwing them out. The two even joke about the lyrics to Bieber’s “Boyfriend,” which includes the line “Chillin' by the fire while we eatin' fondue,” which causes them to argue over whether or not fondue is an appropriate date food. Throughout, Bieber is very candid and even likeable, even joking at one point about how one of his albums has the most dislikes in the history of the Internet.

Bieber’s not the most well-liked celebrity on Earth at this point, but he’s gone a long way to try and win back popular opinion. Earlier this year, he signed on to become the next celebrity to get roasted, and he totally took it in stride when comedians said vile but often funny things to him.

(For the promos, he also allowed himself to be pelted with eggs). He even notably apologized to fans live on the air.

I’m not sure how The Late Late Show with James Corden convinced Bieber's team that this was a great idea, but the car segment is certainly amusing. Corden’s late late program is still in its infancy, yet he’s managed to win over fans with viral sketches, including the “Carpool Karaoke” bit, which we’ve also seen him do with Mariah Carey. Other fun musical bits have included Will Ferrell belting out the Star Trek theme song and Anna Kendrick doing a Pitch Perfect riff-off on the late night series.

Corden’s been able to hold his own in the late night arena so far. You can catch him in action on weeknights at 12:35 p.m. ET, only on CBS.
