Watch Stephen Amell's WWE Feud With Stardust Get Rekindled
You thought it was over didn’t you? Well it appears it’s only just begun. The feud between Arrow’s Stephen Amell and WWE’s Stardust has become a major event over the last year. It even got fierce enough that Amell entered the ring at WWE SummerSlam to take on his rival. Although the two had seemingly let bygones be bygones and cooled their heads, the feud now seems to have returned in full swing. Check out the video below to see more.
As you can see from the video above, Stardust decided to crash Dallas Comic-Con and enter the room where Stephen Amell was sitting in for a Q&A panel. The two began their usual back and forth, but it became abundantly clear that one could cut the tension with a knife. Eventually Stardust’s wife Eden entered the hall and presented Amell with his Slammy Award, which he won for “Best Celebrity Appearance” at SummerSlam last year. Stardust threw out some trash talk--such as saying that actor John Barrowman thinks Stephen Amell is a bad kisser--and as he exited, he decided to throw a glass of water in Amell's face. We think it's safe to say that there's still plenty of bad blood between these two fighters, and we can easily expect to see them go head to head once more.
The whole thing seems meant tease Amell’s eventual return to the WWE ring so the two men can have a rematch with one another at WrestleMania 32. Although Amell bested Stardust at WWE SummerSlam months ago, he had help. Fans have been asking for a single, mano-a-mano match between Amell and Stardust, and it now seems like they could get their wish.
As much fun as the whole confrontation is for fans, its real purpose is to do some good for someone who truly needs it. The intention is to raffle the Slammy off in order to raise money for a young by named Elijah who is currently battling cancer.
If you don’t fancy yourself a wrestling fan, check out the footage from the last time Stephen Amell and Stardust went toe-to-toe in the ring at WWE SummerSlam. It may very well change your mind about the sport.
As long as Stephen Amell and Stardust are willing to put on this amazing spectacle, we will be willing to watch. Their awesome feud has become something that not only entertains audiences all over the world, but also actually does some good for those in need. We will keep you up to date regarding any and all information concerning the feud, and you can catch Stephen Amell every Wednesday night at 8 p.m. ET as Oliver Queen on The CW’s Arrow.
