We still have months to wait for Showtime’s drama series Weeds to return for its eighth season, but it’s past midnight on the East Coast, which means it’s officially 4/20. Given the cannabis connection with that date and the plot of Weeds, it’s no coincidence that a new teaser for Season 8 showed up online tonight. In fact, the video directly acknowledges the occasion.
The teaser doesn’t offer any footage from Season 8, but it does give us a look at the cast, as they smile, dance around, and are occasionally surrounded by floating pot leaves and cash.
As you may have noticed, it’s all boys at first, with Nancy saved until the very end. Series star Mary-Louise Parker is shown looking dressed up and typically gorgeous at the very end, following the “Happy 4/20” message.
